I walk for Jennifer, Aunt Shirley and all my "girls"!
I wanted to ask everyone for their support with a cause that is near and dear to my heart - The Susan G. Koman Race for the cure. I have participated in this event in the past and have found it to be a truly moving, remarkable and breath taking experience. Breast cancer has affected so many people in my short lifetime - I feel every step I make will help toward curing this awful disease. I know personally that the Susan G Koman foundation has helped MANY women, including those in my personal family circle, with their battle of breast cancer - whether financially or through a community of support.
Did you know that one in eight - ONE IN EIGHT - women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime? This fact has convinced me that I need to get involved and help eradicate this awful disease.
So - I would like to invite you to join me in the 5k walk/run (as you know I won't be running - unless some crazy lady in pink is chasing me) on Sunday, October 5Th.
If you can't join me - I ask you to pledge me! Your tax deductible pledge will help women everywhere!

regarding your next post. your family is so stinkin cute. also nice pumpkins. i'm impressed that you are so crafty and talented....i will miss your carved pumpkins this halloween. i enjoyed them in the past and will have to come by and sneak a peak when the time comes bc i know you guys will outdo yourselves with some sort of light themed, awsome pumpkin carving.
